With regards to the use of the "R" word within the songs chorus.

We did not intend to use it in its derogatory sense. As can be seen, the word is used as an adjective modifying the word 'emotion' in the lyric. However, we understand language operates independently of our intentionality. We did not mean to offend or harm anyone, but recognize our responsibility in producing and releasing the song using this word.

As a gesture to this, we have never and will continue to not perform the song live including the original recorded lyric.

At this point I (Francesca) would like to point out some things that the song itself. If you are familiar with "Everything" you'll notice that it is not so much about "falling in love," but more so an illustration of my weakness and ugliness, executed by shrouding these negative traits in the beauty of the songs sonic qualities. Making a song is a very personal meditation, which when in its creative process is never being formulated for an audience. In the solitary state in which this song was formed, and the state of my mindset at that time - I did not think that it was an issue, but very clearly recognize now that it was the wrong thing to say.

We sincerely apologize if we have offended anyone, and thank you very much for listening, sharing and becoming close with this strange song.
